SOUTH: Take I-91 to exit 19 in Northampton.
At the end of the ramp turn right onto Rte. 9.Follow this (east)6 mi. to the green in AmherstCenter.FROM WEST:Take MassPike (I-90) to exit 4 and get on I-91

Main Street is the north boundary of the town green.Proceed east on Main St. and the Museum is just past the
Congregational church, on the left side of the street.Metered parking is on the west-bound side of Main St., but side
streets with blue reserved parking signs are available for (free) public
parking in the summer.Two
handicapped-authorized cars may park in the “staff space”.The two marked handicapped parking spaces may NOT be used by DFA members as they
must remain available for the public tours which will be in progress throughout
the day.Handicapped-authorized cars may
drive up the driveway for a drop-off.The reunion tents are in the rear of the homestead.The OPEN
HOUSE from is
available for a flat fee of $5 per person.It is self-guided, with museum staff available to answer questions.Itincludes two floors of each of two
houses and there is no elevator.
GENERAL PARKING is available in the Alumni lot.The lot is on Seelye Street, which is one
block east of the town green and runs between College Street (Rte. 9) and Main St.Walk up SeelyeSt. to Main
St., turn right and the Homestead is ahead on your left.

Take I-91 to Northampton.FROM SOUTH: take exit 19; at the end of the ramp turn
left and followBridge St.
(Rte. 9) to the town center.Turn right
on King Street
(Rte. 5) and the Hotel Northampton is ahead on your left.FROM NORTH, take exit 20, Rtes. 5 and 10 south.Rtes. 5 and 10
are King Street.The Hotel Northampton is about a mile down
the street on your right.PARKING:There is a parking lot off King Street just north of the Hotel, but
it is often full.There are some
commercial lots (Banks, etc.) north on King St. and there may be places on side
streets behind the Hotel.
